The Town Taster Series
The Series comprises 3 different food tours
Designed to cater to people's different needs. Our wonderful suppliers and producers have carefully chosen your food as you join us on one of our Town Tasters. A selection of gourmet savouries, artisanal sweet treats and some surprise additions will satisfy your stomach. We cater to many palates, including vegetarians, vegans and gluten free. Our outdoor tours (Taster 1 & 2) happen hail, rain or shine. We love our food too much to miss out!
1.Kinsale Walking Food Tour
Our food tours are like a walking food trail which takes you to a selection of different eateries. As we walk through this beautiful medieval coastal town, you will experience a range of different local foods. During the tour you will hear stories about the food and the town.
Private Tour price €250 (2 people min). Additional people in same group €90 each.
Private tours run Mon, Tue & Thursday @ 11am & 2.30pm.
Public Tour price €75 per person (4 people min to run the tour)
Public tours run Wednesday & Friday @ 2.30pm
All tours are 2.5hrs in duration.
2.Foraging & Picnic Tour
COASTAL FORAGING & PICNIC TOUR. FAMILY OR FRIEND GROUPS. THIS TOUR IS ALSO DOG FRIENDLY!
Ideal for the outdoor enthusiast and foodie. Come meet us at the coastal enclave of Sandycove where we will have a sumptuous picnic waiting for you in this gorgeous location.
Relax, take in the views and breathe in the clean, salty air. We will take you on a wee excursion to forage and learn about wild seaweeds, shellfish and plants. Feast on local and wild foods in your delectable picnic.
Tour price €225 (2 people min). Additional people in same group €75 each.
Private tours run Mon, Tues & Thurs
Tour price €65 per person (4 people min to run the tour).
Public tours run Wednesday & Friday
Tour duration: Approx 2-2.5 hours. (Times for this tour are tide dependent).
3.Private Yacht Picnic Charter
Kinsale Food Tours has teamed up with Sovereign Sailing to create a brand new Private Yacht Picnic Charter; an exclusive, luxury experience with a half-day sailing (morning or afternoon) on your own private charter boat.Guests enjoy their own skipper and private guide as well as a gourmet picnic to feast upon as they take in the spectacular views.A range of Kinsale’s fantastic establishments are providing a selection of delectable treats. We also provide a choice of some local Kinsale drinks such as Kinsale Mead, Blacks Pale Ales, Stonewell Cider, wine and Prosecco, depending on your taste.
Tour price: Starts at €300 per person.

Safety Measures
All our tours and venues are working within recommended HSE & Government guidelines.
Consumption of Food
For outdoor tours, food can be taken away for later consumption.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund up to 48 hours before tour commencement. No refund issued within 48 hours of tour start time.
Consumption of Alcohol
No alcohol is permitted on the outdoor tours.
Tour Food Amount
Come hungry as you'll be eating a decent portion of food!
Dietary Restrictions
We can accommodate vegetarians, vegans, Halal, coeliacs and some other dietary restrictions. Please inform us at least 48 hours before the tour if you have any special dietary requirements so we can tailor the tour accordingly.

Weather conditions:
We conduct tours rain or shine. You are advised to dress appropriately for weather conditions. Rain jackets/ponchos are advised rather than the use of umbrella's, for people's comfort.
Arriving late:
Please note that your tour guide cannot wait for guests arriving late. Please make sure to make the necessary arrangements to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the tour. We are on a tight schedule with all the venues we visit.
Suitability
Please note the town tour is best suited for adults and enthusiastic foodie teenagers. Our picnic and forarging tours are suitable for the whole family.
